Driving4Life Campaign reaches $7.5 Million Milestone! December 8, 2008 Visit the 19th Hole for updated Driving 4 Life campaign information. March 6, 2008 Recently, the Driving 4 Life campaign surpased $6.5 million in total funds raised. In just 4 short years, we have grown from 5 initial charity golf events to over 100 annual fundraising appeals! Simply amazing!
Westhaven Golf & Sailing Club Joins the Campaign in 2007 July 12, 2007 Spearheaded by the desire to help their friend Jim MacKinnon, Houston-based Westhaven Golf & Sailing Club conducted two golf events in May, raising much needed research funds for ALS. After Jim was diagnosed with ALS, the club ran its initial event to support ALS research in Fall 2006. PGA TOUR Superstore World Am Partners with the Driving 4 Life Campaign April 23, 2007 Four thousand golfers, 72 holes of intense stroke play competition, an 18-hole championship playoff, nightly parties and entertainment. Golfers from all 50 states and more than 20 foreign countries flock to Myrtle Beach, S.C., every year to participate in a tournament that provides the ultimate golf experience. Now in its 24th year, the World Amateur allows everyone from scratch golfers to 30+ handicappers to test their nerves and competitive resolve. 2nd Annual Greenman’s Charity Tournament Announced April 12, 2007 OnNet USA today announced the second Greenman’s Charity Tournament, which is being held online in the golf game, Shot-Online. This online annual memorial event is being held to remember a Shot-Online player who passed away from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). The player had created the in-game character named Greenman. Life, Death and the Fight to Find a Cure February 6, 2007 It was one of those perfect scenes. Right out of a movie. The sun slowly beginning its descent behind the pines. The temperature cooling at a quicker pace. A man, a woman walking side-by-side, arms wrapped around each other for love and warmth.

The 17th Annual Chris Stoikos Memorial Fight against ALS Golf Tournament July 7, 2006 Driving 4 Life's tour through Canada nets more than $30,000 for ALS research. Donate Your Score Days @ Sand Creek raises a record $10,000 over the holiday weekend! July 4, 2006 This "Founding Five" Event has been a midsummer highlight of the campaign since 2003. 2nd Annual Friends for Faye Golf Outing June 26, 2006 Once again the South Bend community showed their support for Dr. Faye Magneson, coming together to raise more than $200,000 for ALS research in partnership with the Driving 4 Life campaign. Play Where the Pros Play! June 21, 2006 The Driving 4 Life Signature Series consists of 4 events this year and 8 next year, all at PGA TOUR courses and venues. 2nd Annual Jeff Hadley Day June 20, 2006 Jeff’s journey with ALS ended, surrounded by family and friends on May 25th 2006, two short years from his diagnosis. Driving 4 Life Goes to Canada! June 9, 2006 The first of two events parterned with Driving4Life in Canada raises $20,000 for ALS research! The Inaugural Golf 4 Gehrig’s Cure June 3, 2006 This first time event was organized and hosted by Craig and Cindi Griffin, in memory of Craig’s father, Tom. The tournament raised $5,000 for ALS research. Bank of America Championship June 2006 Driving 4 Life is pleased to hold this year’s Fan Putting Challenge at the Bank of America Championship at the Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA this June 9, 10, 11. The 3rd Annual Par 3 Shootout May 25, 2006 Brian Stanfield, Tom Ritchie, and friends do it again this year, bringing the total amount raised to nearly $100,000 in three years. Melba Moeck and the Ladies at Antelope Hills CC in Arizona Do it Again! May 13, 2006 The weather was ideal for golf, not a cloud in the sky with temperatures hovering at about 80 degrees as 90 golfers came out to support this Driving 4 Life charity golf event. Blaskovich Family and Friends Hold Second Annual Golf Tournament May 12, 2006 Thank you to everyone who came out, despite the rain, and showed the commitment needed to fight this terrible disease.
